ABOUT THE REQUIRED SKILLS:
Familiarity with various network protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, basic firewall management, and database administration.
Previous experience working with Microsoft Office, Adobe Products, Antivirus software, Backup Exec and Web Browser applications.
Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience.
Working technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows 2003 and Server products
Ability to conduct research into Windows issues and products as required.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Effective interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end users.
Self motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to learn new technologies and assimilate new information quickly
Abiltity to perform onsite and remote technical support
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Knowledge of PC hardware and peripherals. A+ Certification is preferred.
